Overall, the location and cozy rooms make it a suitable choice despite minor drawbacks in other areas.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Oberammergau, surrounded by beautiful flowers, making it very convenient and enjoyable. I had a really nice time there, especially with the opportunity to dine right in front of the hotel. While the rooms' design with patios was lovely, I did occasionally hear my neighbors talking and snoring, which was a downside.
Our stay was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although spacious and accommodating for our family, had a hazardous step down that led to an unfortunate accident. On the bright side, the location was excellent, right in the heart of town, making it convenient for dining and exploring. The dining experience, however, left much to be desired with repetitive food options. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff added a positive touch to our stay.
Wow, what a location! I couldn't have asked for a better spot, right in the city center and close to all the main shops. The rooms were spacious with a big-size bed that comfortably fit our family. However, the automatic move sensor in the room was a bit of a nuisance, constantly turning on the lights when one of us moved around at night.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The room was perfect for my family with children, very nice and quite comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and very convenient. The tablet device provided in the room with useful information about the hotel, restaurant menu, and surrounding activities was a nice touch. The location was ideal, right in the center of town, making it easy to explore all the attractions in the area. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the exceptional service from the older waiter who took care of everything. A top-notch stay overall!
